The company (department) where I work, released this awesome app for you Android phone (You should have phone with Android >=2.2). It allows you to, regardless what data carrier you currently use (3G, GPRS, WIFI…), send and receive SMS, make calls, see all your call/SMS logs, see your contacts (soon even edit and/or add/delete) and all that in your favourite browser, soon even in native apps and/or browser extensions.
